Thank you for your participation and continual support to the Programme. We are pleased to inform you that the IT platform has been enhanced to facilitate your prescription experience since 15 December 2017.

New features on IT Platform

A pull-down menu with common prescription dosage and frequency is now available for each Programme drug. You can select from the list or continue to type your own prescription in free text as before. In addition, a new PRN checkbox for each Programme drug item has been added in response to request from Participating Service Providers (PSPs) to better suit their needs.

Automatic Reset of Drug Orderable Quantity

The IT platform carries the intelligence of calculating the orderable quantity of Programme Drugs automatically with an aim to give you a hassle-free drug ordering experience. Please be reminded that the calculation is based on actual prescriptions, i.e. the number of patients prescribed with the drug item according to your prescription input in the IT platform, plus a buffer equivalent to the quantity for treatment of 5 additional patients. The maximum orderable drug quantity will be reset and replenished on 1st January of each year. To ensure continual supply of drugs for Programme patients, it is important for PSPs to input prescription records for each consultation into the IT platform to facilitate the system to correctly calculate the quantity of drugs available for purchase
