Issue 1 - IT Enhancements (只提供英文版本)

2016年11月4日
Dear Doctors,

We hope the recently implemented enhancements of the Programme’s IT platform will be helpful. Just a couple of reminders :

E-Notification of Investigation Results

Under the Programme, private doctors may refer patients to the Hospital Authority (HA) for specified laboratory tests and X-rays. Results of these investigations will be sent to the requesting private doctor for necessary follow-up with his/ her patients.

As you know, commencing from 3 October 2016, private doctors (Principal Doctors) will receive a notification in their eHRSS Inbox once the result of their/ their Relieving Doctors’ requested investigation(s) is available. Concurrently, an email/ SMS will also be sent to the private doctor’s (Principal Doctor) registered email/ mobile number, alerting you of this new message in your eHRSS Inbox.

Such a notification in the eHRSS Inbox has replaced the previous arrangement via facsimile. For your easy reference, demonstration videos are available at https://ppp.ha.org.hk/demo/GOPC/

So after requesting laboratory tests / X-rays for your Project Patients, please check relevant investigation results under the eHRSS Viewer in a timely manner.

Enhanced Drug Ordering Platform

The enhanced Drug Ordering Platform has also started since 1 October 2016. With such system upgrade, you may find that previously inputted prescription records in the old platform (if any) cannot be copied. To be able to use the convenient “copy” function in future, you just need to input the structured prescription(s) in the Medication tab once so as to enable your subsequent copying. Please contact 2300 7300 if you need further advice on how to do this.

Should you have any further enquiries, please feel free to contact us at gopcppp@ha.org.hk or via the Programme hotline 2300 7300 (after selecting language, press 5 to speak direct with our hotline staff).

Thank you very much for your continual support to the Programme.

Yours sincerely,
Connie Lau
Manager (Transformation Projects)
