FLU SURGE

Amid the approach of the flu season, TWO consultation quotas will be added to each GOPC PPP patients.  Doctors can also prescribe TAMIFLU to clinically indicated patients.

Chronic Disease Co-care Pilot Scheme (CDCC)

News Update

  • Among the 500 doctors participating in the CDCC, over 300 doctors are GOPC PPP doctors.
  • Among the top 10 CDCC doctors taking care of most participants, each of them has already screened more than 100 to 200 participants in slightly over one month.
  • Among the participants being screened, over 30 percent have been diagnosed of diabetes mellitus or hypertension of different degrees requiring further treatment.   It is believed that many of your patients are still unaware of their risks of diabetes mellitus or hypertension.  All CDCC family doctors will be able to invite and help enrol their own patients to the CDCC at the clinic in the near future.

Enhancing Administrative Support

  • GOPC PPP doctors intended to join CDCC will only need to submit the HKMC practising certificate.  There is no need to provide other banking and business registration supporting documents.
  • Doctors can authorise Clinic Administrators to process the enrolment and save some administrative work.

CDCC pilot scheme has received positive feedbacks from the community and will be integrated with the GOPC PPP in the long run so as to consolidate the provision of Government-subsided chronic disease care programmes in a single platform.

Your early participation will ensure smooth transition in the future and the continuity of patient care.
