Dear Doctors,

GOPC PPP Help Desks received requests from patients to include more information in the List of Participating Service Provider (PSP), in order to facilitate patient choice and minimize delay in the doctor-patient matching process. Against this background, the List of PSP will be enhanced with the following new features w.e.f. 15 January 2019.

1. A new remark to indicate the service status of PSPs

For suspension/resumption of new case admission, please send email to gopcppp@ha.org.hk, providing your 1) name, 2) contact number and 3) suspension/resumption period for our follow up. Changes will be effective within 14 days upon receipt of your notice and the List will be updated regularly.

2. To indicate the “Gender” of a PSP

We take reference to the Primary Care Directory of Department of Health and shall include “Gender” of a doctor as one of the criteria for patients to search for a service provider. If you do not wish to disclose your gender in the List, please feel free to let us know.

3. To provide latest qualifications of PSPs

Please provide your latest additional medical training of significance, quotable qualifications and CME for updating the List of PSP. Please also ensure that all information and documents provided are true and accurate. Cases of false declaration will be reported to relevant authorities for investigation.
