Dear Doctors,

Please be reminded that the supply of anti-hypertensive drug, Adalat Retard 20mg (Nifedipine SR Tablet 20mg) will be discontinued with effect 17 September 2019. Please consider alternative choices of drugs and progressively substitute the drugs for patients.

For any consultation record to be created on or after 17 September 2019, you will not be able to select this item from the “Standard” drug pull-down list under the “Medications” tab and the “Copy Drug” function for this drug item will be disabled. However, you can still text in the drug item under “Others” drugs when necessary.

The List of Specified Drugs will also be updated concurrently on 17 September 2019. Please find an updated version at Appendix for your advance information.
