Enhancement on Investigation Services Appointment Arrangement

Dear Doctors,

Since the launch of the Investigation Public-Private Partnership programme, we have been actively collecting feedback from all parties, reviewing and implementing improvement measures to streamline the operating system and workflow.

Regarding the feedback from doctors and patients on the appointment arrangements of one of the laboratory service providers, the following improvements have been made:

  • Convenience for Patients:

Patients can now book laboratory service appointment up to 3 months in advance, to match their upcoming follow-up consultations more easily.

  • Streamlined Procedure:

During peak periods, laboratory staff will record the patient's name and contact details and will call back on the same day to confirm the appointment.

  • Service Hotline:

If participants have difficulties in making bookings at individual laboratory locations, they can call the service hotline displayed on the laboratory referral slips.

We will continue to collect feedback from all parties and monitor the quality and operational arrangements of the investigation services.
